I need to follow up with the attorneys who worked on Carmen’s case. Charlie has spoken to all of them and they are expecting my call. It seems like all of their personal investigators have passed away, though, which means that no one has any files anymore. We can’t expect to get much from the attorneys themselves; they’ve probably worked on hundreds, if not thousands, of cases since 1981.
We may try to connect with some of the family members of the investigators. Who knows… maybe someone saved some files?
The odds are stacked against us, but we’re positive that God wants us to continue our digging – even if it means making some people uncomfortable.
The former Ector County Sheriff is certain that Galloway was the right man. If that’s true, why couldn’t they build a case against him?
Say a prayer for me,
K. E.
