Her Brother

We were finally able to speak to Marc Croan last night – Carmen’s older brother. I have to be honest – we never thought we’d get to this point. We thought that speaking to a family member was going to be impossible… apparently, God has other plans.

Marc was incredibly gracious and friendly. He described Carmen for us in great detail. She was well-liked by everyone, talented, and intelligent. Marc said that the local newspaper interviewed practically everyone in Carmen’s graduating class to judge her character, but she had no enemies.

The night that she was murdered, he thinks that she was meeting her boyfriend at the club. They had had a fight, and they were meeting there to reconcile. Marc doesn’t believe that the boyfriend was involved, though. The boy was a good kid.

Marc’s top suspect has always been the man the police had in custody: Murray Galloway. He doesn’t believe that Galloway acted alone, though. In fact, his theory matches one I’ve personally had for a while. I’m not going to elaborate at this point; we need to uncover the facts first.

Marc said that his family just wants peace.

Galloway died a free man. Did he deserve that freedom?

Say a prayer for me,

K. E.
